Business code ethics

Category: Business

Employees are encouraged to communicate their concerns, as well as ask questions about ethical issues. The Ethics Line is available to all Boeing employees, in all payrolls, from anywhere in the company, including subsidiaries. Employees who are facing a potential conflict, or who are aware of a violation of this policy may, as a first step, report it to their direct management. Management may obtain legal advice from Legal Services on whether a conflict of interest exists. Employees should refer to the section entitled Compliance Procedures, Policies and Rules for guidance on complying with the Code. No provision of this Code may be waived for any director or executive officer without approval of the TI board of directors and appropriate public disclosure.

Employees, officers and directors operating outside of Canada have a special responsibility to know and obey laws and regulations of countries where they act for the Company and to conduct themselves in accordance with local business practices. The Company recognizes that laws, regulations, business practices and customs vary throughout the world and that, in certain cases, may be different from laws, regulations, business practices and customs in Canada. Employees should immediately report any improper discrimination or harassment to the appropriate manager. All complaints will be investigated promptly.
